THE MOST EXPENSIVE LEGO SET EVER MADE – STAR WARS DEATH STAR ARRIVES! 🌑
After nine long years, we finally have a new LEGO Death Star, with netiher LEGO nor Star Wars holding back on this fantastic set. At a whopping £899 for us in the UK or $999 for the folks in America, this is the most expensive LEGO set EVER released, and also the biggest-ever for its partnership with the much-loved Star Wars franchise. 🛸
Greater price means greater pieces, and this Death Star has no shortage of LEGO bits to accidentally stand on. At a monumental 9,023 pieces, this new LEGO Death Star will keep you busy for weeks, maybe even months. 🧱
While the new Death Star may carry the record for most-expensive LEGO set ever made, it doesn’t hold the record for most pieces. It actually sits in fifth place overall, coming in after the World Map (11,695 pieces), Eiffel Tower (10,001), Titanic (9,090), and Colosseum (9,036) – although we feel the World Map has cheated a bit, due to being 90% dots.
The LEGO Star Wars Death Star does however become the largest Star Wars set by some distance, beating the previous top three of the Millennium Falcon (7,541 pieces), AT-AT (6,785), and Razor Crest (6,187). 🏆
Visually this set differs significantly from those Death Star sets of the past, with this one being a cross-sectional design opposed to the full spherical, diorama-style globe shapes of the past. This means what it loses in overall likeness, it makes up in practicality and usability. It'll not only be a more accessible and playable set, but also sit more easily on the side’s of our homes. 🏠
At just 2p, you could win this fantastic, iconic Star Wars LEGO set, or a nice £500 tax-free cash straight into your bank. Good luck!
